What We Do
Through a
variety of events and activities, the
committee raises
funds to award scholarships to graduating seniors who will be
full-time students at accredited, post secondary institutions.
Scholarship Committee
The committee composed of SMC members review applications made by students on an annual basis.
The criteria include academic performance, need, and service to school and community
The committee makes recommendations on the number students receiving scholarships and which students will be awarded the scholarship.
The Scholarship dollars will assist students by providing resources to offset expenses associated with tuition, books and housing.
How much is the scholarship?
Each winner will receive an equal
scholarship between $1,500 and $2,000.
